Privacy policy

What we collect

• Hosts: name, email, password (stored encrypted), property names and cities, calendar links, and what you type into the screen designer.
• Guests: only the first name a host types, and booking dates from the host's calendar link. We never contact guests or ask them for information.
• Devices: serial number, battery level, Wi-Fi signal strength, firmware version, the time it last checked in, and network details used to confirm a sign is at its property: the public IP address, the Wi-Fi network name and router hardware address it's connected to, and the hardware addresses of nearby Wi-Fi networks (not their names, and nothing about guests' devices or internet use).

What we don't collect

Our signs have no camera and ship with the microphone removed. The TV app only displays information. We don't sell personal information.

Services we use

Hosting (Railway), weather (Open-Meteo, which receives only the property's approximate location), and payments (Stripe).

Deleting your data

Email support@kernelusa.com and we'll delete your account and its data within 30 days.
